6-year-old boy dies from injuries following baseball bat attack

Georgetown, Texas – Unfortunately, a young kid of six years old, who was a victim of an attack by a trespasser wielding a baseball bat in September, has succumbed to his injuries, according to his dad, Arturo Diaz.

According to a post on his GoFundMe page, Jeremy Diaz died from his injuries on Nov. 14.

“Our hearts are heavy as we find out of the passing of Jeremy Diaz. In this very tough time, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Workplace wish to extend its deepest condolences to the Diaz household,” said the sheriff’s workplace in a release.

At around 5 a.m. on September 11, police authorities from the sheriff’s department were dispatched to a home situated in the 300 block of Rock Mill Loop in Georgetown, in reaction to a report of a disturbance.

Private investigators concluded that Daniel Logan, aged 39, was in belongings of a baseball bat when he unlawfully entered the home and attacked 2 individuals. Both a grown-up and a small were consequently transferred to medical centers for healthcare.

According to Williamson County affidavits, Logan struck his mother, 65-year-old Cynthia Logan, in the confront with a baseball bat, causing an injury to Cynthia’s face to include a damaged tooth, facial laceration and periorbital edema in her left eye.
